Hood Catch, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Pedestrian Protection

NOTE:

If the pedestrian protection deploys, push the hood catch back into it original position.

  1. Hood Catch
    • To remove, remove bolts -2-.
    • Height adjustment, refer to STRIKER PIN, ADJUSTING .

      -- Push the hood catch to the rear -arrow A- into its original position.

  2. Bolt
    • 11 Nm
  3. Hood
  4. Cover
  5. Nut
    • For adjusting the height of the hood catch
