Sub-Assembly Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil filter. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

-- Place a cloth under the sub-assembly bracket to catch any escaping engine oil.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- for the oil dipstick tube.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 5- and pull off the sub-assembly bracket from the coolant pump housing.

NOTE:

There are different designs depending on the engine.
