Driver/Front Passenger Backrest Heating Element -Z7- / -Z9-, Removing And Installing, RS Bucket Seat: Removing
-- Remove the seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, RS BUCKET SEAT .
-- Remove the backrest. Refer to FRONT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BACKREST AND SEAT PAN, RS BUCKET SEAT .
NOTE:
Electrical wiring harness must not be loosened at seat pan.
Set aside backrest toward rear on soft surface.
-- Remove the backrest cover and padding. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND PADDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, RS BUCKET SEAT .
-- Cut out area -A- with electrical connection wire from old heating element.
-- Remove old electrical connection wire.
-- Disconnect electrical wire connections to heating elements at backrest bolsters at positions -B-.
-- Disconnect electrical connection wires to upper backrest heating element at positions -C-.
