Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192-: Removing

NOTE:

The electrical vacuum pump is located in the engine compartment on the right side in front of the plenum chamber bulkhead.

-- Remove the engine cover.

-- Disconnect electrical connector -1-.

-- Loosen the clamp on the vacuum hose using suitable pliers.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.

-- Press the right and lift clips -arrow- out of the bracket by hand.

-- Remove the electrical vacuum pump upward while holding the rubber buffer securely.

NOTE:

When removing the vacuum pump, make sure the lower rubber buffer does not fall into the engine compartment.
