Vacuum Pump -V192- Overview

Depending on the engine install, a vacuum pump is installed to support the brake booster.

NOTE:

Only the vacuum pump is shown in the illustration and not the installation location.

  1. Bolt
    • 9 Nm
    • Remove to remove the pump.
      NOTE:

      The pump is not designed to be disassembled.

  2. Vacuum Pump
  3. Vacuum Hose
    • Secure with hose clamps that match those used in production,
  4. Bolt
    • 5 Nm
      NOTE:

      Installing the bolt depends on the model.

      Alternatively, secure the vacuum hose with the hose clamp for the vehicle version,

  5. O-Ring
    • Replace
      NOTE:

      Installation of the o-ring depends on the model.

  6. O-Ring
    • Replace
      NOTE:

      Installation of the o-ring depends on the model.

  7. O-Ring
    • Replace
      NOTE:

      Installation of the o-ring depends on the model.
