EVAP canister/leak detection system, assembly overview: Notes

1 - Cap nut, 9 Nm
2 - Cover
- For EVAP canister
3 - Stud bolt, 16 Nm
4 - Sealing piece
5 - Ventilation line
- From gravity valve at fuel tank
- To remove, press release ring on EVAP canister
6 - Ventilation line
- To evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve N80
- To remove, press release ring on EVAP canister
7 - Air filter housing
- For leak detection pump (LDP) V144
- No maintenance schedule
8 - 4 Nm
9 - Vacuum line
- To leak detection pump (LDP) V144
10 - Cable tie
- To fasten vacuum line to bracket for leak detection pump
11 - Leak detection pump (LDP) V144
- Component location: In left rear wheel housing behind wheel housing liner
- Checking → Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 , checking (vehicles with MPI-engine)
- Removing and installing → Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 , removing and installing
12 - Electrical harness connector
13 - Connecting hose
- Leak detection pump/EVAP canister
- Pressure side
- To remove at leak detection pump, press release button on connection
14 - Connecting hose
- Leak diagnosis pump/air filter
15 - Cable tie
- To fasten hose to bracket of leak detection pump
16 - Sealing piece
17 - Cable tie
- To fasten connecting hose to wheel housing
18 - EVAP canister
- Component location: Bottom of spare wheel well
