Tightening Specification

Lower Oil Pan

-- Tighten bolts in two stages as follows:

Step	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1	8 Nm diagonally
2	in a diagonal sequence, turn an additional 90°

Upper Oil Pan

NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten bolts as follows:

For Steel Bolts

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification
1	M7 -1 to 6-	Install all the way in by hand.
2	M7 -1 to 6-	Tighten last to 16 Nm diagonally and in steps

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification
1	M8 -1 to 6-	Install all the way in by hand.
2	M8 -1 to 6-	Tighten last to 20 Nm diagonally and in steps

For Aluminum Bolts

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1	-1 to 6-	Install all the way in by hand.
2	-1 to 6-	8 Nm
3	-1 to 6-	Turn an additional 90°.
