Left Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation -1 and 2-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit SMN372500 under the engine.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move oil cooler to the side with the coolant hoses -1 and 2- still connected.

Vehicles with After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- :

-- Remove the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- (refer to After-Run Coolant Pump -V51-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and the engine oil cooler (refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ).

-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Engine Support Bridge10-222A with the Engine Support - Supplement Kit Adapter 6 T40093/6 on the left and right suspension strut tower, as shown in the illustration.

-- Engage the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle 10-222A/11 in the left and right engine lifting eyes.

-- Lightly pretension engine with spindles.

Vehicles with Hydraulic Power Steering

-- Remove the nut -2- and free up the bracket -1-.

-- Remove the left subframe bolt -2-.

NOTE:

The left subframe bolts -1 and 3- and all the right subframe bolts remain installed.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the Left Electrohydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve -N144-.

-- Remove the left engine mount bolts -1, 4 and 5-.

-- Move the left engine mount retaining plate -2- to the side.

-- Remove the left engine mount.
