Radiator, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications: Refer to OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/COOLANT FAN .

NOTE:

If there are small impressions on the fins. Refer to COOLER AND CONDENSER ASSEMBLY .

-- Install the air duct on the air filter housing intermediate flange. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING .

-- Vehicles with 0B5: Tighten the ATF lines. Refer to ATF LINES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the front charge air cooling circuit radiator. Refer to FRONT CHARGE AIR COOLING CIRCUIT RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Audi A4: Install the bracket for the headlamp housing mount. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEADLAMP HOUSING MOUNT BRACKET .

-- Install the condenser. Refer to CONDENSER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the impact member. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to FILLING .

NOTE:

All of the coolant must be changed if the radiator was replaced.

-- Vehicles with S tronic transmission 0B5: check the ATF level. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING .
