Front Brake Disc, FN-3: Installing

Always use new bolts .

Clean the brake disc, wheel hub and contact surfaces before installing.

-- Place the brake disc on the hub.

NOTE:

When positioning the brake rotor, do not tilt it on the wheel hub.

-- Install the securing bolt -arrow- and tighten.

-- Position the front brake carrier.

-- Install the screws -5- on the front brake carrier and tighten to the tightening specification.

-- Install the front brake pads, refer to FRONT BRAKE PADS, FN-3 .

NOTE:

After replacing the brake pads, press the brake pedal firmly several times while the vehicle is stationary so that the brake pads are seated properly in their normal operating position.

-- Install the wheels.

Wheel bolt tightening specifications, refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
