Front Brake Caliper, FBC-57: Installing

Use new bolts .

-- Position the brake carrier.

-- Tighten the brake carrier with new bolts -3-.

-- Install brake pads, refer to FRONT BRAKE PADS, FBC-57 .

NOTE:

After replacing the brake pads, press the brake pedal firmly several times while the vehicle is stationary so that the brake pads are seated properly in their normal operating position.

-- Install the brake pressure line -5- in the brake caliper and tighten.

-- Remove VAG 1869/2.

-- Bleed brake system.

-- Install wheels.

Wheel bolt tightening specifications, refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
