Brake Pedal, With Automatic Transmission: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover -1 to 3-.
-- Disconnect the electrical connector to the footwell vent -C-.
-- Remove the footwell vents -A-B-.
-- Remove the brake lamp sensor, refer to BRAKE LAMP SENSOR .
-- Separate the brake pedal from brake booster, refer to BRAKE PEDAL AND BRAKE BOOSTER, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
WARNING:
If possible, leave the brake pedal stop installed; it could break the mount for the brake lamp sensor if the brake pedal is released too quickly.
-- Remove bolt -11-.
-- Remove the retainer -5- and remove the pins -4- to the left.
