Performing final control diagnosis

- Connect scan tool and select function "engine electronics" → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 or scan tool V.A.G 1551 , connecting .
- Press → key.
Indicated on display (function selection):

- Press keys 0 and 3 for "Final control diagnosis" and confirm the entry with the Q key.
- Press the → key until the following text appears:

- Confirm entry with the Q button.
The electric vacuum pump should now run for approx. 10 sec.
- Remove diagnosis lead from diagnostic connection.
