Adjusting selector lever cable to basic setting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Procedure

NOTE:
  • Before adjusting the selector lever cable to basic setting make sure that clamping bolt has been tightened. The clamping bolt can be accessed via the hole in the selector mechanism, when in position "S". Use socket and key T40031 to tighten clamping bolt.

NOTE:
  • Make sure the selector lever is in position "P".

NOTE:
  • When the parking lock has engaged it should no longer be possible to rotate both front wheels in one direction.
