Adjustment table

NOTE: When performing transmission repair work, the pinion, ring gear or drive unit must only be re-adjusted if you are replacing components which directly influence the setting of the final drive. Refer to the following table so as to avoid unnecessary adjustment.

1) Shims, installation position. Refer to Position of shims 

2) Pinion and ring gear, only replace together

3) If transmission housing is replaced, input shaft must also be adjusted. Refer to Input shaft, adjusting .
