Tunnel CROSSMEMBER: Removing

-- Remove the rear noise insulation by loosening the fasteners -2 and 3-

-- Position the V.A.G 1383 A plunger with the T10337 attached on the bottom of the transmission.

-- Lift the transmission slightly using the V.A.G 1383 A.

WARNING:

There is the risk of an accident.

  • The V.A.G 1383 A may only be used during assembly and must not sit unsupervised under the vehicle.

-- Remove the bolts from the tunnel crossmember -arrows-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrow- and the tunnel crossmember.
