Differential Assembly Overview

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Audi A5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:

Differential can be removed and installed without having to remove shifter, input shaft, output shaft, side shaft/pinion and transmission cover.

The bearing pre-load for the tapered roller bearing must be adjusted when replacing the final drive cover. Refer to FINAL DRIVE COVER .
