Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing, Left (Bank 2): Installing

Fig 1: Identifying Nuts -1 To 2- And Heat Shield Bracket, Removal/Installation

-- Position the exhaust manifold with the seal, coat the nut threads with hot bolt paste and position them.

-- Mount the bracket for the heat shield with the nuts -1 and 2-.

-- Tighten nuts in 3 stages in -1 to 9- sequence as follows:

-- Tighten the nuts hand-tight.

-- Pre-tighten to 15 Nm.

-- Tighten to 25 Nm.

Install in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
