High Pressure Pump Assembly Overview

- High pressure pump
- The Fuel Metering Valve -N290- is installed in the right high pressure pump (cylinder bank 1)
- Fuel Metering Valve 2 -N402- is installed in the left high pressure pump (cylinder bank 2)
- The Low Fuel Pressure Sensor -G410- is installed in the left high pressure pump (cylinder bank 2)
- Removing and installing, refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP
- Bolt
- 9 Nm
- Seal
- Replace
- Low Fuel Pressure Sensor -G410-
- 10 Nm
- Installed only in the left high pressure pump (cylinder bank 2)
- High-pressure lineWARNING:
- Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to BEFORE OPENING HIGH PRESSURE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM .
- Then wrap a clean rag around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.
- Observe safety precautions when disconnecting the battery. Refer to BATTERY .
- Before loosening, disconnect Ground (GND) cable at battery with ignition switched off
- Connectors should not show any signs of damage
- Do not change bent shape
- 25 Nm
- Fuel supply lineWARNING:
- Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to BEFORE OPENING HIGH PRESSURE FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM .
- Then wrap a clean rag around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.
- Observe safety precautions when disconnecting the battery. Refer to BATTERY .
- Before loosening, disconnect Ground (GND) cable at battery with ignition switched off
- Connectors should not show any signs of damage
- Do not change bent shape
- 25 Nm
- O-ring
