Tail Pipes, Aligning: Procedure

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .

-- Check distance of left and right tail pipes to bumper:

Dimension -x- top = dimension -x- bottom
Dimension -y- left = dimension -y- right

Correct the dimension -y- as follows if necessary:

-- Loosen the brace threaded connection -arrow- between the exhaust pipes.

-- Adjust the distance of the rear mufflers to each other.

-- If necessary, make sure the exhaust system is aligned free of tension EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
