Safety Precautions When Working On Start/Stop System

Pay attention to the following when working on vehicles with a Start/Stop System:

Risk of personal injury due to the engine starting automatically on vehicles with Stop/Start System.

When the Start/Stop System is activated (recognizable by a message in the instrument cluster), the engine can start up automatically if necessary.
Make sure the Start/Stop System is deactivated whenever working on the vehicle (switch off ignition; switch it on again if needed).
