Dynamic Ride Control Fault Finding

Rattle coming from area of suspension or rear of vehicle while driving on rough terrain   Strong side inclination of body while turning steering wheel
Oil leakage detected?
     
  • Check components
  • Check connections to central valves, shock absorbers and wiring harnesses.
  • Replace leaking shock absorbers
← Yes   No → Check all connections to central valves, shock absorbers and wiring harnesses.
   
Complaint eliminated?
No ↓ Yes ↓
Check system pressure in both lines. (Central valve must be locked when connecting and disconnecting charging device.)
 
  System pressure larger than 18 bar?
  No ↓ Yes ↓
Extract, evacuate and fill the complete DRC line with Filling device for DRC system:VAS 6544  , check for leaks. Refer to DYNAMIC RIDE CONTROL (DRC), DRAINING AND FILLING .
