Bumper Guide Pieces, Removing And Installing: Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Removing

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bumper cover side mount. Refer to BUMPER GUIDE PIECES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING => Side Mount .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the bumper cover locking mechanism -1- .

Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the bumper cover side mount. Refer to BUMPER GUIDE PIECES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING => Side Mount .

-- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Center Guide

Removing

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- .

-- Remove the center guide -3- .

Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER, AUDI RS5 .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Close the rear lid.

-- Position the center guide and slide it upward until the assembly aids -1 and 4- lies on the rear lid -2- .

-- Tighten the nuts and remove the assembly aids.

-- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .
