Impact Member Mount, Removing And Installing For Vehicles Through My 2011: Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - IMPACT ABSORBER .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Tighten the impact member mount according to the marking made during removal.

-- Install the headlamp washer system spray nozzle. Refer to Headlamp Washer System .

-- Install the impact member. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES THROUGH MY 2011 .

-- Install the front bumper cover. Audi A5. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, EXCEPT AUDI RS5 , Audi RS 5. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

Right Mount

Removing

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Audi A5. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, EXCEPT AUDI RS5 , Audi RS 5. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

-- Remove the impact member. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES THROUGH MY 2011 .

-- Mark the installation position of the mount to the lock carrier for installation later.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- .

-- Audi A5: Remove the bolt -1- .

-- Audi RS 5: Remove the nut -1- .

-- Remove the impact member mount -2- on the lock carrier.

Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - IMPACT ABSORBER .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Tighten the impact member mount according to the marking made during removal.

-- Install the impact member. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES THROUGH MY 2011 .

-- Install the front bumper cover. Audi A5. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, EXCEPT AUDI RS5 , Audi RS 5. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .
