Radio -R-, Removing And Installing, MMI, Through 11 / 03 / 2008: Removing

-- Open The Left Storage Compartment In The Luggage Compartment

-- Loosen the nuts -3- -1-, -2-, -4- -5- on the Infotainment rack.

-- Swivel the rack into the luggage compartment.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -1-, -4- and -6- from the back side of the Radio -R- -2- and -5- and from the Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module -J401- -3-.

-- Insert the Fiber-Optic Repair Set - Connector Protective Caps:VAS6223 / 9 -1- onto the MOST Bus connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts on the left and right sides of the rack -arrows-.

-- Remove the Radio -R- -2- from the rack toward the rear.
