Accelerator Pedal Position Sensors -G79- / -G185-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - ACCELERATOR PEDAL MECHANISM .

-- Engage the accelerator pedal module -4- on the bottom of the pedal bracket -1-, insert the centering pin -2- and tighten the bolt -3-.

-- Install the lower instrument panel cover on the driver side. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS AND COVERS .

NOTE:

Depending on the engine/transmission version, adaptation in the "Guided Functions" operating mode is necessary after replacing it.

Perform the adaptation, if a menu item is available in the "Guided Function". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
