Suction Line: Installing

Installation Is In Reverse Order Of Removal, Note The Following: 

-- Prepare Suction Line For Installation -6- :

-- Install Suction Line -1- Until It Engages Audibly.

-- Connect Electrical Connector -2- And Make Sure It Engages.

NOTE:

When Inserting, Do Not Bend The Floater Arm On Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169- -3-.

-- Slide Suction Line From Luggage Compartment Into Fuel Tank Opening.

-- Stretch New Sealing Ring Over Locking Flange And Insert It In Groove On Fuel Tank.

-- Reach Into Front Fuel Tank Opening And Pull Suction Line Into Installation Position.

-- Install Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169- INSTALLING 

-- Install Fuel Delivery Unit INSTALLING .

-- Connect Battery And Observe Safety Precautions After Connecting Battery. Refer To BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- After Installing Suction Line, Fill Vehicle With At Least 5 Liters Of Fuel.

-- To Vent Fuel Line To The Auxiliary Heater Metering Pump, Run For 10 Minutes At Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
