Left Combination Valve, Removing And Installing, With Vacuum Control: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to OVERVIEW - BULKHEAD .

-- Free up the wiring harness and push it to the side.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -2- from the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) valve.

To provide a better illustration, component location is shown from behind with engine removed.

-- Remove the secondary air hose -3- by pressing the release buttons.

-- Remove the bolts -4- and remove the left AIR combination valve.
