Right Catalytic Converter, With Automatic Transmission, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the right front muffler. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- and Oxygen Sensor After Three Way Catalytic Converter -G130-. Refer to HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR -G39- /OXYGEN SENSOR AFTER THREE WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER -G130-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CYLINDER BANK 1 .

CAUTION:

The Suspension Components Could Be Damaged.

  • Do not rest the vehicle on its wheels if the subframe mount, the steering gear or the subframe crossbrace are not installed correctly.
  • Do not support the vehicle on the subframe or the subframe crossbrace (for example by a floor jack or similar device).

-- Remove the subframe crossbrace. Refer to SUBFRAME CROSSBRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the : T10337  on the :VAS6931  .

-- Position the :T10337  on the bottom of the transmission.

-- Lift the transmission slightly with the :VAS6931  .

WARNING:

There Is The Risk Of An Accident.

  • Do not lower the :VAS6931  during assembly and do not leave it under the vehicle unsupervised.

-- Remove the bolts from the tunnel crossmember -arrows-.

-- Next lower engine/transmission subassembly with :VAS6131B  only by dimension -a-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and the bolt -1- and the right catalytic converter.
