When Working on the Cooling System, Observe The Following:
WARNING:
There Is A Risk Of Scalding From Hot Steam And Coolant.
- Cooling system is under pressure. The coolant temperature can be higher than 90 °C when the engine is warm.
- Reduce The Pressure And Temperature Before Working On The Coolant System. Refer To COOLING SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS [CAUA] , COOLING SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS [CFSA] , COOLING SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS [CALA] and SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON COOLING SYSTEM [CAED, CAEB, CPMB, CPMA] .
- Open The Cap On The Coolant Expansion Tank And Release The Pressure In The Coolant System. Refer To COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING [CAUA] , COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING [CFSA] , COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING [CAEB, CPMA, CAED, CPMB] , COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING [CALA] and COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING [CAED, CAEB, CPMB, CPMA] .
CAUTION:
Danger Of Overheating Due To An Incorrectly Installed Cap.
- The cap must engage audibly and by touch when closing.
