Steering Column Switch Module, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Adjust steering wheel downward and to rear as far as possible, use entire adjustment range of steering column adjustment for this.

-- Remove The Driver Airbag. Refer To AIRBAG UNIT WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG .

-- Remove The Steering Wheel. Refer To STEERING WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove The Steering Column Trim Panel. Refer To UPPER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and LOWER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

WARNING:

Before Disconnecting The Connector -3-, Discharge Any Electrostatic Charge From The Body By Touching An Electrically Grounded Vehicle Component Such As The Door Striker Pin.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Press the catch -1- in direction of -arrow- until the connector -2- disengages.
