Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following: 

-- Make sure all retaining hooks and connectors are engaged securely.

-- Install The Steering Column Trim Panel. Refer To UPPER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and LOWER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install The Steering Wheel. Refer To STEERING WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install The Driver Airbag. Refer To AIRBAG UNIT WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG .

-- The steering angle sensor must be adapted in "Guided Fault Finding  " after replacing the return spring with slip ring. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
