Overview - Rear Seat Backrest: Notes

The Backrest Is Divided Into 2/3 On The Right And 1/3 On The Left.

2/3 Right Backrest
- Vehicles with:
  - Without the center armrest and storage compartment and without the center armrest and pass-through cover
  - With the center armrest and storage compartment
  - With center armrest and pass-through cover
- Removing and installing. Refer To REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Trim
- For the right lock
  Vehicles with:
  - With lock cylinder
  - Without lock cylinder (not shown in the illustration)
- Overview. Refer To OVERVIEW - LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM .
- The trim with lock cylinder is destroyed when removed
Headrest
- Overview. Refer To OVERVIEW - HEADREST AND HEADREST GUIDE .
Center Armrest
- With pass-through cover
- Equipment levels
- Overview. Refer To OVERVIEW - CENTER ARMREST, CENTER ARMREST WITH PASS-THROUGH DOOR .
Center Armrest
- With storage compartment (armrest with lockable cover)
- Equipment levels
- Overview. Refer To OVERVIEW - CENTER ARMREST, CENTER ARMREST AND STORAGE COMPARTMENT, LOCKABLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
- The center armrest and storage compartment can only be removed and installed separately
Center Armrest
- Without storage compartment with backrest cover and backrest trim
- Equipment levels
- Overview. Refer To OVERVIEW - CENTER ARMREST, CENTER ARMREST AND BACKREST COVER WITH TRIM .
- The center armrest as well as the backrest cover and trim can only be removed and installed separated.
Left 1/3 Backrest
- Removing and installing. Refer To REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Right Locking Mechanism
- Overview. Refer To OVERVIEW - LOCKING MECHANISM, BACKREST .
Right release cable
- From the locking mechanism to the connector station

Release Cable
- with handle for the right remote release

Left Release Cable
- From the locking mechanism to the connector station

Release Cable
- With hand for the left remote release

Trim
- For the left lock

Left Locking Mechanism

Outer Bracket

- Clipped into the backrest shell

Cover
- For the center bracket

Bolt
- 9 Nm
Securing Bracket
- For the center bracket

Center Support

Inner Bracket
