Locking Mechanism Trim, Removing And Installing, Locking Mechanism Without Lock Cylinder: Removing

-- Release the backrest.

-- Make sure the button -2- is in the >>top<< position.

-- Press the retaining tabs on both sides of the trim -1- in the direction of the -arrow- using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 .

-- Pull the front of the trim -1- as far up from the backrest -3- as possible.

-- Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry the clip -arrow- located in the rear area of the trim -1- out of the retainer.

-- Remove the trim upward from the backrest.
