Headliner, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

If The Headliner Clamps Remain In The Body Mounting Points, Remove Them And Insert Them In The Headliner.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

-- Country-specific with deformation elements: position self-adhesive deformation elements on the marks on the headliner and press firmly.

-- Position the top of the headliner on the B-pillar and roof frame and on the side member and A-pillar through the front passenger door opening.

-- Press the top of the headliner up on the opening on the B-pillar and the roof frame while guiding the bottom in at the side member and A-pillar.

-- Rotate the headliner and bring it into the installation position by pressing the top of it up on the B-pillar and roof frame and then guiding the lower left front corner under instrument panel -3-.

-- Clip the limiting straps on the rear of the headliner into the body.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

Follow All Safety Precautions When Working With Pyrotechnic Components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Align the headliner before securing and press it into the body mounting points until the clips engage.
