Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:
-- Route the ribbed belt -2- in the specified sequence over the ribbed belt pulley.
1 - Generator
3 - Idler roller
4 - Vibration damper
5 - Tensioner
NOTE:
When installing the ribbed belt, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys.
-- Start the engine and check the belt routing.
-- Install The Front Bumper Cover End Plate. Refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER END PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI A6/S6 and/or FRONT BUMPER COVER END PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS6 .
