Overview - Timing Chain Cover: Notes

- 9 Nm
- Left Coolant Pipe
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PIPES [For transmission(s) 0B5, 0CK] .
- Bolt
- Tightening sequence. Refer to Figure.
- Bolt
- Steel bolt 9 Nm
- Aluminum bolt 4 Nm + 45°
- Always replace the aluminum bolt after removal
- Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- /Exhaust Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Replace the O-ring -item 15- OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER.
- Bolt
- Steel bolt 9 Nm
- Aluminum bolt 4 Nm + 45°
- Always replace the aluminum bolt after removal
- Exhaust Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- /Exhaust Cam Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Always replace the O-ring -item 15- OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER.
- Seals
- Always replace after removing.
- Installation position: smaller inner diameter outward
- Remove to replace the upper timing chain cover -item 13- OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER
- Coat with oil before assembly
- Seal
- Always replace if damaged
- Cap
- Upper Timing Chain Cover
- Removing and installing. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Seal
- Always replace if damaged
- O-rings
- Always replace after removing.
- Coat with engine oil
- Alignment Pin
- For centering the cover
- Quantity: 2
- Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence with 15 bolts. Refer to Figure.
- Tightening specification and sequence with 8 bolts. .
- Always replace after removing.
- Lower Timing Chain Cover
- Always replace after removing.
- With gasket
- Removing and installing. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REPLACING .
- Seal
- Replacing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER SEAL, REPLACING .
- For the vibration damper
- Plugs
- Always replace after removing.
