Transmission Side Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Oil Side Sealing Lip: Removing

• Non-hybrid vehicles: transmission removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (0B2) (SEDAN) / TRANSMISSION, ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE (0B2) (AWD - CABRIOLET) / TRANSMISSION, DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING (0B2) (CABRIOLET) / TRANSMISSION, DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING (0B2) (COUPE) / TRANSMISSION, ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE (0B2) (AWD - COUPE) or TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (0AW) (CABRIOLET) / TRANSMISSION, TRANSPORTING (0AW) (CABRIOLET) .
• Hybrid vehicles: engine is removed and is secured on the Engine and Transmission Holder :VAS6095A  . Refer to ENGINE, SECURING TO ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

-- Remove the drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unhook the intermediate plate from the sealing flange and at the alignment sleeves -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8-. (There is also equipment with only six bolts depending on the version).

-- Pry out the sealing flange.
