Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

• Engine oil drained. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to the appropriate service information in OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CAEB, CAED, CPMA, CPMB] .

-- Disconnect the connector from the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 19-.

-- Remove the oil pan, if necessary loosen by applying light strikes with a rubber hammer.

-- If the oil pan lower section is replaced, remove the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-. Refer to Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
