Exhaust Pipes/Mufflers, Separating, Vehicles With Two Rear Mufflers: Procedure

-- Separate the exhaust pipes at a right angle at the separating points -arrow- using a :VAS6254  .

-- When installing, position the clamping sleeves -arrows- on the center of the separation cut.

-- Install the clamping sleeves so that the bolt ends do not project over lower edge of the clamping sleeves.

• Installation position: threaded connections forward.

-- Install the exhaust system without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING FREE OF TENSION, VEHICLES WITH TWO REAR MUFFLERS .
