Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

NOTE:

The :VAS6190  may have to be adapted for the adjustment procedure. Refer to Setting Device Basic Set .

Before driving the vehicle onto the alignment stand, check if there is enough space between the vehicle and the :VAS6190  . The distance between the :VAS6190  and the vehicle must be 120 cm ± 5 cm.

If there is not enough space, drive vehicle the backward on the alignment stand in order to be able to use the space.

The calibration procedure is described here using the :VAS6190  . However the :VAS6041  and the :VAS6041/1  can also be used.

NOTE:

Do not perform the steps under "Calibration procedure without a previous axle alignment" if an axle alignment has already been performed.
