Bearing Bracket, Removing and Installing: Removing: Notes

• Preliminary work may be required depending on the model. Refer to Bearing Bracket, Removing and Installing .
• Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

TIP: 

The control valves have left-hand thread.

• Depending on the version, remove the control valve in direction of -arrow- using either the -T10352A- or -T10352/1A-.

• To do so counterhold on the vibration damper with the - T40263-, -T40314- and the 24 mm socket.

• Remove the bolts -arrows-.
  • Carefully remove the bearing bracket without tilting it.
