Function

If the central locking is not in the SAFE mode, then it possible to switch the reading lamps on and off individually using the buttons. The lamp is supplied with electricity when the button is pushed.

When one of the reading lamp buttons is pushed when terminal 30G is off and there are no other electrical consumers on, the vehicle electrical system control module will recognize when an electrical consumer is switched on and it will activate terminal 30G.
