Gas-Filled Strut, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- The gas-filled strut tube must be engaged on the hinge side.

-- Install the gas-filled strut at an angle, with the spring tube mounted on the ball pin, and then clip it in while slightly turning it at the same time.

-- Install the gas-filled strut at an angle, with the ball socket attached to the ball pin, and then clip it in while slightly turning it at the same time.
