Removing the Ignition Coils from Cylinder Bank 1

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to 3.0 TFSI GASOLINE ENGINE .

-- Free up the fuel line -1- and the line -2- from the EVAP canister on the air filter housing and air duct pipe.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -3- from the connection on the air guide pipe.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe.

-- Remove the screws -arrows- and disconnect the connectors on the ignition coils.

-- Move the wiring harness slightly down.
