Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

NOTE: Follow all the rules of cleanliness, refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.

  • The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
  • The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.

Audi S6/S7:

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -1-, and remove the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-.

Audi RS6/RS7: 

NOTE: Ignore item -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then free up the Turbocharger Recirculation Valve -N249- with the air guide.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-, and remove the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-.
