Cylinder Head Cover Overview

CAUTION: After the high pressure line assembly, and when installing a new short engine, it is particularly important to tighten the fuel injector tension bracket to the previously mentioned tightening specification, refer to FUEL INJECTORS OVERVIEW . Only tighten the tension brackets >>hand tight<< after delivery when assembling the high pressure line in order to align the fuel injector. Engine damage may occur if not observed.

  1. 5 Nm
  2. 22 Nm
  3. Protective Strip
    • For the rail element (high pressure reservoir) and high pressure lines
  4. Rail Element (High Pressure Reservoir)
    • With high pressure lines
    • Do not change the angles of the high pressure lines
    • Refer to FUEL SYSTEM SCHEMATIC .
  5. 5 Nm
  6. Injection Unit Cover
  7. 10 Nm
  8. Tension Clamp
    • Replace
    • Installation position Fig 3.
  9. Fuel Injector (Injector)

    Fuel System, Assembly Overview. Refer to FUEL INJECTORS OVERVIEW .

  10. Bracket
    • For wiring harness
  11. Vacuum Hose
    • Make sure it is seated correctly and is routed without kinks
    • To Wastegate bypass regulator valve -n75-
  12. Cylinder Head Cover
  13. Seal
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
  14. Bolt
  15. Cover
    • Replace the seal if damaged.
  16. Heat Shield
  17. Bushing
    • For the rail element (high pressure reservoir) - mounting
    • Replace if damaged

-- Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts to 9 Nm in sequence -1- through -7-.
