1/3 backrest cover and upholstery, removing and installing

• Removal:

• Remove backrest → 1/3 backrest, removing and installing 
• Remove bolt - 2  - of lock trim - 1  -.
• Press lock lever - 3  - in direction of arrow.
• Remove bolt - 4  - beneath lock lever - 3  -.

• Lift latch trim - 1  - off.
• Remove headrests - 5  - :

• Headrests with slide in locking mechanism → Headrest with insertion lock, removing and installing 
• Headrests without slide in locking mechanism → Headrests without insertion lock, removing and installing 

• Remove headrest guides - 6  -.

• Headrest guides with slide in locking mechanism → Headrest guides with insertion lock, removing and installing 
• Outer headrest guides without slide in locking mechanism → Outer headrest guides without insertion lock, removing and installing 
• Inner headrest guides without slide in locking mechanism → Inner headrest guides without insertion lock, removing and installing 

• Pry out rear plastic strip all around - 7  - and plastic strip - 8  - using a screwdriver and remove cushion from backrest panel.
• Turn back cover - 1  -.
• Pry out grip channels - 10  - from plastic clips - 11  - using a screwdriver.

2 - Screw

3 - Lock lever

4 - Screw

5 - Headrest

• Outer rear headrests not the same as front headrests.
• If you remove all headrests, mark them with adhesive tape.

6 - Headrest guide (Qty. 2)

• With insertion lock: Removing and installing → Headrest guides with insertion lock, removing and installing 
• Without insertion lock: Removing and installing → Outer headrest guides without insertion lock, removing and installing 

7 - Rear plastic strip all around

8 - Plastic strip

9 - Cover

10 - Fastening strips (2x)

11 - Plastic clips

• Replace damaged plastic clips
