Dual Mass Flywheel

Flywheel Retainer 3067

Removing

CAUTION:

To prevent damage to the dual-mass flywheel when removing, bolts -B- must not be removed using an air-powered or impact wrench. Only removing bolts by hand is permitted.

-- Mark the dual-mass flywheel to the engine.

-- Rotate dual mass flywheel -A- so bolts -B- are centered to the holes -arrows-.

-- When removing the bolts -B- make sure the bolt head does not come in contact with the dual mass flywheel -arrows- which would be damaged if the flywheel is turned further.

-- Insert the 3067 into the hole in cylinder block -B-.

-- Remove the dual mass flywheel.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while noting the following:

For the correct tightening specifications, refer to TRANSMISSION SIDE SEALING FLANGE AND DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL OVERVIEW .

-- Use new bolts.

-- Insert the 3067 into the hole in cylinder block -A-.
