Oil Pump

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Removing 

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the frame for the noise insulation. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the oil level thermal sensor -G266-.

-- Drain engine oil.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 20-.

-- Remove oil pan, if necessary loosen by applying light strikes with a rubber hammer.

-- Remove the oil baffle -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the oil pump.

-- Pull the chain tensioner in the direction of the -arrow- using the T10118 and remove the oil pump with the chain sprocket.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Make sure both alignment bushings for centering the oil pump are in there.

-- Replace the baffle plate.

-- Install lower oil pan. Refer to LOWER OIL PAN .
